Experience New Ramadan Desert Delights at Banyan Tree Al Areen

Sakhir, Bahrain – The appearance of the new crescent moon signals the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. For the chefs at the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, Al Areen, Ramadan heralds the start of a month of daily preparation of delightful culinary creations presented each Iftar.

For Iftar, Rimal the resorts elegant all-day-dining restaurant takes on an Arabic theme for the month, with an extensive menu of both local and regional Middle Eastern dishes. Diners can select from exquisitely prepared hot and cold dishes, live cooking stations including a traditional lamb ghouzi and shwarma station, classic salads and an assortment of desserts including qamar aldeen. Rimal can comfortably accommodate 50 guests for Iftar.

For late night Ghabgha, the doors of our enchanting Vertigo restaurant will be opened inviting diners to spend an evening relaxing in the authentic atmosphere of the resorts Arabian style tower with unparalleled views of the Arabian Gulf. Colorful lamps and lavish furnishings set the scene, creating a mystical atmosphere heightened by the rich aromas of the aromatic shisha. Diners can have a la carte menu or choose from a mouth watering selection of three, 4-course traditional Ramadan menus which include an extensive variety of local and regional dishes.

For an alternative Ramadan experience our award-winning villas are available. While relaxing in the tranquility of the desert under the stars the guests can enjoy Iftar and Ghabgha in a privacy of a luxury-appointed individual villa.
