Al Areen Received a Group of Students from the College of Engineering at Bahrain University

Over thirty five students from the College of Engineering at Bahrain University, led by Dr. Mohammed Al Saad, visited the Al Areen Client Relations Centre (CRC). They were received by Al Areen marketing officials who briefed the students on the various projects at the Al Areen development.

The students later visited key construction sites including the world-class Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort, Al Areen, which is spread over 131,000 square meters and being developed at total investments of US $150 million. It includes 56 one-bedroom villas, 22 two-bedroom villas, the largest spa in the Middle East, extensive catering and conferencing facilities, and four international standard restaurants. They also visited “The Lost Paradise of Dilmun” Water Park which is spread over 77,000 square meters and being developed at an investment of US $50 million.

The students were impressed by the landmark Al Areen development, especially the Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort, Al Areen which they described as an engineering masterpiece. They expressed their gratitude for Al Areen's generous hospitality and for allowing them to witness the creation of an exceptional development. The students also got the opportunity to meet with the Technical Director, Eng. Claude Julliot, who answered all their technical questions.

The main components at the Al Areen development are the Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort, “The Lost Paradise of Dilmun” Water Park, the water Park Hotel, Al Waha Resort, Downtown Al Areen, Oryx Hills and Sarab Al Areen. The development will also feature additional projects, including residential, commercial, hospitality, recreational and entertainment facilities.
